CARD WEAVING ON AN INKLE LOOM--- a weaving technique where tablets or cards are used to create the shed through which the weft is passed. Card Weaving lets you make beautiful bands and straps. Materials for sampler provided.

CROCHET IN THE ROUND---- choose either a summer hat or a water bottle holder! Learn to crochet in the round using spiral technique and separate rounds. Supplies: 100-200 yards DK weight yarn depending on your pattern choice and a size H hook.

MEETS IN THE MIDDLE KNIT TOP--- Begin at the corners then join them as they meet in the middle. Side gussets guarantee a perfect fit without much work but lots of style. Sleeves are optional. Any size yarn with appropriate matching needle. We used 880 yards of worsted weight yarn- Ty-Dy’s Fleurtini and a size 8 needle. Perfect for the first time sweater knitter!

NEEDLE TATTING--- needle tatting is a simpler form of the time honored technique of tatting that uses a needle rather than a shuttle to complete the work. Join guest instructor JoAnn Langston for a fun and informative new craft!

DON’T PANIC-FIX IT!--- up at midnight, can’t sleep, and dropped a stitch. Uh-oh! Learn how to pick up dropped stitches, turn purls into knits, frog, TINK, and other “fixes” to keep you from continually starting over or waiting till The Knitting Nanny can help. Bring a 4” x 4” swatch of stockinette stitch still on the needles (use a medium weight yarn and size 8 needles for easier fixing)
